Mechanical Engineering Department is established in 2004 after the inception of the college. With an aim to develop highly competent Technocrats in Mechanical Engineering profession, the department is equipped with up-to-date infrastructure. Mechanical engineering is one of the core engineering branches on which the pillars of all small/large industry stand. Mechanical Engineering has the reputation of being an ever evolving, ceaselessly and perpetually growing branch and its relevance is essentially undeniable. Mechanical engineers use the principles of mechanics, kinematics, thermodynamics and energy in the design and analysis of automobiles, aircraft, heating and cooling systems, manufacturing plants, industrial equipment and machinery, medical devices and more. Not only this they acquire knowledge of Boiler, Turbine, Compressor, Automobile Engineering, etc. they are trained to apply the principles of mechanics and energy to the design of machines and devices. The department also appreciates and motivates students interested in exploring the latest trends in the industry. Regular industrial tours and visits, workshops & training programs are arranged for students to bridge the gap between the academia and the industry.
