Department of Computer Science of Saroj Mohan Institute of Technology (SMIT) was established in the year 2003 with an objective to promote practical knowledge in latest cutting-edge technologies and research in various domains. Department Laboratories are well equipped with up to date hardware facility with all licensed software and high speed Internet facility. As a student of Computer Science and Engineering, you will undergo through courses covering algorithms, data structures, programming languages, database, network, operating system. You will also get exposure to the state of the art topics like image processing, artificial intelligence, Bioinformatics, computer graphics, computer vision, compiler design, web based application.
